Congratulations to Giacomo Acciarini for passing his PhD confirmation examination! It was held on Monday 7th August, and the examiners were Andrea Lucca Fabris (Surrey Space Centre) and Tom Bridges. The title of his project is “Stochastic continuation for space trajectory design in uncertain environments”. Giacomo is a joint PhD student between Mathematics (with supervisor David Lloyd), the Surrey Space Centre (with supervisor Nicola Baresi), and the European Space Centre (with supervisor Dario Izzo).
