Dorje Brody visits Hokkaido Japan to give lectures and speak at a conference on quantum dynamics

Dorje Brody is in Hokkaido Japan for two weeks (Saturday 12th August to Wednesday 23rd August) for lectures and to speak at a conference, both at the University of Hokkaido. He is one of the three lecturers for a 5-day short course (12-16 August) on the Fundamentals of Open Systems (link here). Topics include non-Hermitian quantum mechanics, GKSL equation, and open quantum systems. Immediately after the summer school is a conference on “Physics of Open Systems and Beyond” (website here). Dorje‘s invited talk is on “An open quantum dynamics for cognitive psychology“. The image below shows the poster for the conference and a map of Japan showing the location of the conference.
