Philip Aston has been appointed to the Newton Gateway Scientific Advisory Panel. The Newton Gateway to Mathematics is the impact initiative of the Isaac Newton Institute in Cambridge and reaches out to and engages with the users of maths – in industry, business, public sector and other scientific disciplines. The Gateway Scientific Advisory Panel members are from academia and provide guidance and advice on specific scientific and research matters relevant to Gateway activities.
