Imran Nasim (AI Engineer at IBM, and Visiting Assistant Professor at Surrey) has been appointed to the Gateway Advisory Board. The Newton Gateway to Mathematics is the impact initiative of the Isaac Newton Institute (INI) in Cambridge and reaches out to and engages with the users of mathematics, in industry, business, public sector and other scientific disciplines. Imran has been invited to advise on the impact of AI on Mathematics, as well as other related issues that arise at the Gateway.
