Lewis Napper has been awarded one of the Scientific High-level Visiting Fellowships (SSHN) issued by the Higher Education, Research, and Innovation (HERI) Department of the French Embassy in the UK, to undertake a research stay at a CNRS Laboratory in France. The scheme funds visits by UK-based postdoctoral researchers and PhD students who collaborate with the CNRS, in order to support and develop Franco-British research relationships. Lewis will be visiting the CNRS Laboratory at La Rochelle University, France for 3-months from 31st August to 24th November, where he will be working with Vladimir Salnikov on a project entitled “Generalisations of Monge—Ampère Geometry and their applications.” Lewis is a PhD student of Martin Wolf and Ian Roulstone. La Rochelle is on the west coast of France north of Bordeaux and southwest of Angers.
