David Lloyd elected Fellow of the Institute for Mathematics and its Applications (IMA)

David John Baron Lloyd has been elected a Fellow of the IMA, with effect from 26 April 2024. Candidates for Fellow require senior professional standing based on demonstrable achievement and competence in the development or application of mathematics. The IMA is the premier applied mathematics society in the UK. It was formed in 1959, solidified in 1964, and in 1990, the IMA was incorporated as a royal charter company, and registered as a charity in 1993 (see wikipedia entry here).
