Paper of Cesare Tronci on quantum-classical dynamics published in Journal of Nonlinear Science

The paper “Fluid models of mixed quantum-classical dynamics“, co-authored by Cesare Tronci and Francois Gay-Balmaz (ENS Paris & NTU Singapore), has been accepted for publication in the Journal of Nonlinear Science. A final form preprint is available on the arXiV (link here). The main results of the paper are obtained by applying the fluid closure at the level of the action principle of the original phase-space model, thereby inheriting variational and Hamiltonian structures, and ensuring energy/momentum balance. After discussing some of its structural properties and dynamical invariants, the paper illustrates the proposed fluid model in the case of pure-dephasing systems. The screenshot below shows some of the key equations in Section 3 of the paper.
