Cesare Tronci organises conference on quantum thermodynamics at Surrey

On Monday 8 July there will be a conference at the University of Surrey on “New trends in quantum thermodynamics” (event website here). It is organised by Andrea Rocco (Physics and Microbial Sciences, Surrey) and Cesare Tronci, and sponsored by the John Templeton Foundation and the Leverhulme Trust. Quantum thermodynamics is a promising area, which has the ambition to close the gap between microscopic quantum phenomena and macroscopic classical scales.
