Rachel Bernasconi and Naratip Santitissadeekorn participate in workshop on Data-Driven Modelling in Chicago

Rachel Bernasconi and Naratip Santitissadeekorn are in Chicago this week (28 September to 2 October) to participate in a major workshop on “Data-driven modeling, simulation and inference for neurobiological problems” (workshop webpage here). Key themes of the workshop include: (a) Inverse problem methodologies in neuroscience, (b) Integrating mathematical models with experimental data, (c) Advanced numerical techniques for neural network simulation, (d) Numerical analysis of nonlocal and nonlinear neural evolution equations
, (e) Statistical inference in neurobiological systems, and (f) Uncertainty quantification in neural dynamics. Naratip presented some of his recent work in one of the group discussion sessions. The group photo is shown below, with Rachel in the back row and Naratip front and centre.
