Anne Skeldon was in Galveston, Texas, last week (3-8 March) to attend and speak at the GRC Conference on Sleep Regulation and Function (link here). The aim of GRC conferences is to bring relatively small groups (~200 people) together across a range of career stages for plenary talks, focused discussions and networking. The theme of the Sleep Regulation and Function conference this year is “Dynamics Across Vigilance States”. The GRC conferences are pretty intense, with sessions scheduled to run from 9am through to 9pm or later! Anne gave a talk on Wednesday on “Determining Whether Sleep Phenotypes are Driven by Endogenous Circadian Rhythms of Environmental Light by Combining Longitudinal Data and Personalized Mathematical Model“.
