MarÃa Cruz Navarro, from Departamento de Matemáticas, Universidad de Castilla- La Mancha, is visiting Mathematics for one month (arrived 8th July, departing 2nd August). Maria is working on understanding the fluid motion in tornado structures in the atmosphere. She will give a seminar on Friday 12th July at 2pm in 39AA04. The talk title is “Convective vortices and applications to atmospheric phenomena“.
