David Lloyd visited the University of Minnesota Twin Cities last week (10-14 August) to attend and speak at the conference “Order and function in complex systems: coherent structures, selection and stability“. The conference was in honor of the 60th birthday of Arnd Scheel, Professor of Mathematics at UMN. Dave spoke on “Towards a spatial dynamics bifurcation theory for fully localised 2D patterns in anisotropic systems“.
