Congratulations to Ian Morris, of the Dynamical Systems and PDEs Research Group, who has been awarded a four-year £267k research grant on “Lower bounds for Lyapunov exponents“.  The grant will commence in September 2016, and it provides funding for two Research Assistants, replacement teaching, travel, consumables, and dissemination.

Bin Cheng is visiting the Institute for Applied Physics and Computational Mathematics in Beijing this month (July 2016) for research interaction.  The visit is supported by a grant from the Royal Society of London.
