3 Steps to Clearing: What You Need to Know

So you’re going into Clearing, and maybe you are unsure what to do. Don’t worry, Surrey is here to help with this handy guide and video.

1. Don’t Panic

Clearing gives you a great opportunity to identify a university that works for you academically and personally. Take a look at what a university can offer you. For example, Surrey is ranked 15th in the UK for student satisfaction in the National Student Survey and 21st in the UK overall in the Complete University Guide.

You can access our Clearing FAQs here.

Make sure you have your UCAS ID, clearing numbers and exam results so we can provide the most up to date advice.

2. Call the Clearing hotline

Keep an eye on our Clearing website where we will share specific timings when our Clearing hotline will be open. This will be updated in July so that you can be prepared in time. Our Clearing hotline numbers are 0800 052 2248 (UK) and +441483 686828 (International).
