Hey guys! 

Each year, the Surrey Students’ Union will host a Student & Society Awards Ball just before exams to celebrate some of the greatest achievements societies or individuals have accomplished! This year it was held at G Live in town. All of these achievements are all nominated by students, presented by the VPs and president of the union.

At the ball, societies are nominated for ‘best newcomer’, ‘best events’ society, etc! Check out some photos we took!

It doesn’t matter whether you’re part of a society or not, going to an end of year ball really encourages students to step out of their comfort zones and get to know the committee members at the students union! 

The ball was really just that one event a fresher can’t miss out on, there was dancing, getting to know people, drinking (maybe a tad too much…?) and just a relaxing time to socialize!

A big congratulations to the societies for all their hard work throughout the year has been recognized!
