Ian Roulstone was in Phoenix Arizona last week to attend the Annual Meeting of the American Meteorological Sociey. At the meeting he was formally awarded the 2015 Louis J Battan Award for his book “Invisible in the Storm: the role of Mathematics in understanding weather“.  The announcement of the award is here.
