The paper Delay equation models for populations that experience competition at immature life stages, co-authored by Stephen Gourley and Rongsong Liu (University of Wyoming), will appear in the September issue of the Journal of Differential Equations.  The paper considers stage-structured population models of intra- and inter-specific competition at immature life stages. A prototype delay model is derived and analyzed for a single species that experiences larval competition.
