Congratulations to Michael Foskett for passing his PhD viva on Wednesday 16 September! Michael’s thesis is entitled “Geometry of quantum hydrodynamics in theoretical chemistry“. The External Examiner was Klas Modin (Chalmers University, Sweden) and the Internal was Tom Bridges. The viva was chaired by Alessandro Torrielli. The project was supervised by Cesare Tronci, and his second supervisor was Eran Ginossar (ATI & Physics, Surrey). The image left shows Michael during a visit to MSRI in Berkeley, California.
