Paul Bergold has been appointed a Postdoctoral Fellow on the project “Life on the Edge: quantum thermodynamics, quantum biology and the arrow of time“, with immediate effect, supported by the Templeton Foundation. Paul is working with Cesare Tronci on a sub-theme called “bridging the quantum-classical divide“. A link to the Templeton funding announcement is here. Paul is in the process of completing his PhD at the Technische Universität München, and was recently awarded a prize by the German Mathematics Association (link here).
