Elizabeth Carlson visits from the University of Victoria in Canada and gives an NWGFD Seminar

Elizabeth Carlson is visiting the department this week (w/c 28th March) for research interaction with Camilla Nobili. She is currently a PIMS Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Victoria (link to her home page here), and is also a current participant in the Newton Institute programme on Turbulence. On Thursday 31 March she gave a Nonlinear Waves and Geometric Fluid Dynamics Seminar on “Using Data to Accurately and Efficiently Model Turbulent Flows: Data Assimilation & Parameter Recovery“.
