J Nathan Kutz, Professor of Applied Mathematics at the University of Washington in Seattle (homepage here), is visiting the Data Group this week (22-27 May). In addition to interacting with members of the Data Group (Klus, Lloyd, Santitissadeekorn), he is one of the principal speakers at the conference on Data and Dynamics taking place this week (link here). His talk, on Thursday morning, is entitled “The future of governing equations“. The image below shows Nathan during his talk in Room 22 AA 04 in the Mathematics Building.
