Paper of Masanori Hanada on the Maldacena-Milekhin conjecture accepted for publication in JHEP

The paper “Nonperturbative test of the Maldacena-Milekhin conjecture for the BMN matrix model”, co-authored by S. Pateloudis (Regensburg), G. Bergner (Jena), N. Bodendorfer (Jena), Masanori Hanada, E. Rinaldi (Michigan, RIKEN Wako), and A. Schäfer (Regensburg), has been accepted for publication in the Journal of High Energy Physics. The final form arXiv version is available for download (link here). The paper tests a 2018 conjecture by Maldacena and Milekhin for the ungauged version of the Berenstein-Maldacena-Nastase (BMN) matrix model by lattice Monte Carlo simulation. Numerical results presented in the paper reproduce the perturbative and gravity results in the limit of large and small flux parameter, respectively, and hence are consistent with the conjecture.
