Ryan Poole attended a one week (18-22 July) summer school at the University of Bath, on the theme of “New Directions in the Theory of Water Waves“. The summer school had lectures on exponential asymptotics, vorticity, and instabilities, with key lectures given by Darren Crowdy (Imperial), Jon Chapman (Oxford), Erik Wahlen (Lund).
