Prof Sir Michael Berry FRS visits from Bristol and speaks on Quantum Trajectories

Michael Berry visited the School on Friday 8th December, hosted by Cesare Tronci (Fundamental Maths Group) and Jim Al-Khalili (Quantum Foundations Group). He gave a talk in the Friday Mathematics seminar on “Quantum trajectories, quantum potential, superoscillations: Bohm, Madelung, de Broglie, and Newton“. Michael is a Professor Emeritus at the University of Bristol and has his own webpage at (wordpress link here). The photos below show Michael with Dorje Brody and then with Cesare Tronci, chatting before his talk.
