David Lloyd has been awarded an EPSRC Mathematics Open Fellowship grant. It begins in October 2026 and runs for 5 years, with a total funding of £1.4 million. It covers 80% of Dave‘s salary, funds two Posdoctoral RAs, as well as a travel and visitor fund. The project is entitled “Localised Multi-Dimensional Patterns“. There was a tea and cake celebration in the department today, preceded by a talk where Dave outlined the context of the project. The photo below shows Dave just before the talk.
