Anne Skeldon speaks at Society for Research in Biological Rhythm biennial meeting in Florida

In early May (9-13 May), Anne Skeldon was on Amelia Island, off the coast of Florida, for the 2026 Biennial Meeting of the Society for Research on Biological Rhythm (SRBR). The Biennial Meeting is one of the world’s leading international forums for the exchange of scientific information and collaboration in all aspects of biological rhythms (conference website here). Anne spoke in a session on “Mechanisms Clock Entrainment” and her talk title was “Data informed theory of clock entrainment: implications for human circadian timing and digital twinning approaches for circadian and sleep health”. The talk was based on joint work with the Surrey Sleep Research Centre, directed by Prof Derk-Jan Dijk. The meeting is primarily attended by biologists of various flavours, so this was a good opportunity for Anne to further advertise the power of mathematical approaches and the potential for using mathematical models for better human health. The figure below is from Anne’s talk.
