SETsquared Surrey’s IKEEP Programme Launching Again in 2021!

Do you have an innovative project? Are you interested in inspiring the next generation of talent?

The exciting IKEEP programme (Intrapreneurial Knowledge Exchange Enterprise Pathway) is back again for another June placement round this year! Run in partnership with SETsquared Surrey, the IKEEP programme matches teams of 3 university students (entrepreneurially trained, from different disciplines and a mix of undergraduate and postgraduates) for short 4 week part time projects totalling 210 hours through online/remote project placements. IKEEP placements can take place with companies or charities who have a clear and innovative project for a student team to tackle.

The IKEEP programme is an opportunity which will benefit regional businesses by enabling them to develop and grow, develop business model solutions and market awareness and more, while honing the talent of future graduates.

The five project themes which the University of Surrey are actively promoting are projects based on:

  1. Environment and sustainability
  2. Female Perspective
  3. Collaboration
  4. Internalisation and
  5. Business resilience to COVID-19

The next project placement rounds this year will run from the 1st to the 26th of November 2021.

In compliance with COVID-19 restrictions, project placements will be run remotely. Hosting a project placement through IKEEP is entirely free for participating organisations and IKEEP directly pays each student a set stipend at the end of a project.

If you are a business interested in being involved in the IKEEP programme, complete this short Project Brief Outline form, and then complete the Project Brief Template using the IKEEP Project Brief example attached below as a guide.

Project brief outlines for the June project placement round must be submitted before the 1st of October 2021.

If you have any questions about the IKEEP programme or want to arrange a call or meeting, you can get in contact with Kate at k.bray@surrey.ac.uk.
